Is the Philosopher’s Stone real?

It looks like The Book of Aquarius is making the rounds. I wonder if it will spark a revival in alchemy like different writings did in the 17th century?  Not yet? … Well, we’ll have to wait and see. For now, it has sparked the interest of Jay Weidner who has talked about Alchemy for a long time. Yet talking about it and doing it are two different things – unless you believe that Alchemy is just an art of the mind. I wonder if Jay will actually put in the time to produce a stone.

I highly encourage you to read the endorsement on Jay’s website. It is titled “The Golden Age Has Begun!” He’s got some kind words to say about the author. Likewise, he also provides the link to the book for it is available for free (Download it from here). He’s a little paranoid that the net may be turned off before it gets around, but it seems to me that the book has already gotten around!  Lol…..

In any case, I’ve now read the bulk of the book a second time. The author’s simple interpretations of the ancient documents is like a breath of fresh air to an all but forgotten art. It’s so simple that anyone (or just about anyone) could follow the directions and make the stone.

The only problem is time.

But then again, there may be enough people working on it that someone actually gets it done.

I’ve spent time reading through the forum that the Author has setup and, what surprises me the most, there is a thread that states there the supply companies have temporarily run out of retorts. It’s titled “No More Retorts in the USA?” Looks like a number of people are taking it seriously. There are also a number of people that have posted information about their progress.

The unfortunate part is that it’s not a quick recipe! It can take years to prove that it actually works.

Yet the part that interests me the most is that Alchemy deals with Life-Energy. An Alchemist follows the laws of nature in order to isolate the essence of life in a form that can enhance the human experience. If this book can motivate people to once again start searching for this ‘life-energy’ there should be some really interesting observations made that could help change the world (even if the stone is not made).

Today, I’m even more excited to follow the work of this Alchemist and the students that he’s brought into his ‘classroom’ (The book of Aquarius Forum).

  2. Definitely keep me informed regarding your progress. I haven’t had time to check back with the kids in the forum to see if anyone has discovered anything interesting. In other words, it’s been a year now, it’s probably a good time to check in and see where it’s all gone. 🙂

  6. Jay Weidner was on Coast to Coast today and he affirmed that he is doing the alchemical experiment, only using dew, rather than urine… unless he was just being obtuse and using the word ‘dew’ euphamistically.
