The Dark-eyed Junco is back

If you remember last year, we had a Dark-eyed Junco nest in the fuchsia on the front porch. We noticed early enough so that I could get a time lapse sequence of them growing up. This year, they’re back! It’s not as convenient this time.

Hopefully no one will shut the door to hard!  Fortunately, the kids are no longer at home so we don’t get the traffic through the front door like we used too. If all goes well, these little birdies will fly the coup my next month!

An Expando Planet Theory

A few days ago, I followed a link to Half Past Human and read an article that theorized about an “Expando Planet Model.” I found the entire article intriguing and read it a couple times. This also built upon another article that I read a few weeks earlier about the center of the earth being Geo-Nuclear fusion. In other words, it’s not a liquid iron core as people have theorized – but, maybe something different.

Today, I came across a pointer to a site that shared the following video. I do have to say that they did a great job with the animation for it really drives the point home. It’s amazing how some things so simple can be overlooked by the brightest of minds!  Yet, as the video says, this will cause people to have to rethink ALL KINDS of things.

I’ll let the video speak for itself.

The best part about this video is that it shows that scientists have not discovered all there is to discover and that even the foundations upon which theories are built sometimes come under fire.

Question everything, for you may be the person that figures out how to turn lead into gold!

Oh, and this video is from Neal Adams. If you Google “Neal Adams Expanding Earth” you’ll find a bunch of great info.

If you will – Flower of life – 2012 explained (sorta)

Sometimes surfing the net is an intuitive discovery. Yesterday, I opened a ‘junk’ email scrolled half way through it and the phrase “Thanks for giving the website re the 2012 video that as you say explains it all” caught my eye. Whenever I hear someone say ‘that explains it all’ the critic in me immediately laughs. If people only knew the affects of these types of statements they would learn to craft words that truly fit that they mean to say.

So, I figured I’d follow the link and see what I could find. After decoding the html link, I finally got to a site that had a series of videos of a man introducing people to what he teaches in his seminar. Now, I have to admit that I had to go looking for the video that was referenced in the email, so it may not be the exact same thing. This would imply that maybe I missed the video that ‘explains everything’ and got the one that ‘theorizes about some things’!

It’s still a good watch and worth the time. That is way I’ve linked them in here for you to enjoy. Figure that it’s going to take you an hour and the info goes by really fast. If I could, I’d slow down the presentation so that the reader can really decipher what the presenter is saying. But I believe it was crafted this way to get the listener excited in order to buy into the seminar.

My advice – keep an open mind, but think for yourself. I came across parts in the video where his understanding differed from my own and at times found that the words he spoke didn’t jive with what he was presenting. In other words, there are most likely some truths in this, but it is from his point of view so it is colored by his understanding.

After looking around a bit more, I came across the source website. It’s Pane Andov’s site. He’s got the whole series of eight displayed on this main page.

Without further ado, here is a link to the series of videos.

If that grabbed your attention, visit his site and check out the remaining seven. Simply scroll down to “Video 2012 Equation Solved – Brisbane” and you’ll find the full series.

By the way, his library of crop circles is pretty nice!

Enjoy.

One Year Anniversary

Can you believe it?  One year ago today I started blogging. Just like last year, spring is in the air and the hope of a great spring has been assured by the cold winter. I’ve spotted a couple red breasted robins, so I know the warm air is not far away.

Just like last year, I’ve planted peas. This time, I’ve put in sugar snaps. Last year’s peas really didn’t develop for we didn’t get a spring! It was just nasty all the way until June. I’m hoping they’ll be big enough to put out in a couple weeks. When they do go out, I’m going to start twice as many a second time. I don’t think anyone can plant enough sugar snap peas!

Unlike last year, I’ve also started spinach. I’ve got the seeds of one package distributed across two standard starter flats and I’m going to watch them closely. Last year I couldn’t get a single spinach seed to sprout. This year, I’m not settling for that. After these get a couple week head start, I’m going to start the Spinach and Swiss chard that I gathered from last year.

I got to visit my parents the other day and it turns out my dad has enough lettuce and beet starts to plant an acre! He’s starting indoors and his growing season is a couple weeks ahead of mine. Last year, I got about 200 lettuce starts and enjoyed them all the way through august. If I’m lucky, I’ll find that he has some left over and I’ll make a home for them.

One change that I’m going to make to the garden this year is to plant potatoes near the compost pile rather than taking up valuable growing space in the raised beds. I spent a little time this winter clearing out the brush so all I have to do is spread some compost and press in some Pontiac reds.

Not only have I enjoyed the garden and helped it grow, this blog has grown! There are currently over 125 posts and some even have comments. The site is averaging about 10 spam comments a day and it’s growing. I am glad there is filter software that swallows the bulk of it. Unique visits, over the last month average around 300.

Over the last year, the most popular posting has been the posting ORMUS, is this the wet method that I posted on April 18th of last year. I really enjoyed critiquing HealingMindN’s video and it seems that others are drawn to it too. But what I’m really surprised by is that the posting Opening the Window to Your Soul is the second most popular! There is magic there. It appears others are drawn to it to also.

The energy that I had when I started this blog seems to be holding up fairly strong. I guess I really like having an outlet – to the world – for sharing. I find that I still want to take pictures of different things that I’m experiencing so that I can craft a blog and tell the world. I still find myself meditating on topics and scribbling down the words. And, most importantly, I’m still having fun!

I’ve always been a little camera shy, but I’m starting to think about expanding to YouTube. But it’s still just a thought. I don’t have anything to sell so it would simply be me sharing my ideas. If I can figure out what to chat about, I’ll make the move. But for now, it’s still just a thought.

So as it stands, I’d stay this blog is 1 year old and that it’s had a pretty good start to life.

Have a great day and I hope to see you back here another day!
